The game delivered everything a knockout-level contest should offer. From the first whistle, it was football in its rawest form: tackles flying in, bodies on the line, crisp passing, and pure emotion. The Royals settled quicker and controlled the early rhythm. Their confidence told, and after a lovely spell of possession, JayBoy slipped a simple pass into Bakayoko’s path. What followed was anything but simple. Bakayoko unleashed a thunderous strike from outside the box, a rocket that tore into the net and lit up the fans.

The Expendables, known for their power and relentlessness, pushed back in waves, but the Royals’ backline of Bakayoko, Ifeanyi Jerry, JayBoy, and NNUTAM MIRACLE BURABARI stood firm. Almost everything was kept out… until one moment of hesitation. JayBoy misread a situation near his own box, allowing Collins a cleaner look at goal. With four goals already in the tournament, he wasn’t going to waste it. A calm, clinical strike into the bottom corner levelled the score at 1–1 just before halftime.

The second half resumed exactly where the first ended, blazing intensity on both sides. The Royals struck again, and it was that man Bakayoko at the heart of it. After a brilliant tackle to dispossess Aman, he fed JayBoy and continued his run. JayBoy returned the favour with a delicate ball, and Bakayoko finished with a slick backheel that sent the crowd wild. A stunningly executed goal and 2–1 to the Royals.

The Expendables reacted immediately with changes. Solomon and Kayci were introduced, bringing fresh aggression and purpose. Their pressure grew and eventually forced a mistake in the Royals’ box. JayBoy tried to wriggle his way out of trouble but was crowded out by Solomon and Dera. Solomon squeezed a shot from a tight angle, and with Ifeanyi Jerry reacting just a fraction too late, the ball rolled over the line for 2–2.

The closing minutes were tense. JayBoy came closest to stealing the win when his effort cannoned off the post. Both sides traded final blows before the referee called time. Nothing separated them, so the match marched into penalties.
