Legendary Lincoin settled quicker, with Amah dictating the tempo in midfield like a conductor guiding an orchestra. He kept the ball moving, controlled the rhythm, and dictated where attacks began and ended.

But Turf Kings had problems of their own to give.

Pedro had two golden opportunities but couldn’t apply the finishing touch.
John also saw a chance he should have buried.

And then, after a spell of constant, balanced exchanges, Legendary struck.

Legendary Take the Lead

A moment of pure craftsmanship from Amah opened the door.
He sliced Turf Kings open with a clever, almost artistic move, like carving a sculpture from chaos.
Moses arrived at the right time, finishing with aplomb to put Legendary Lincoin 1–0 up.

Turf Kings were rattled.
They looked shaken, unsure, but far from finished.

Turf Kings Find Their Fury

Accuracy, exhausted from endless pressing, was substituted for Moses (Turf Kings), who injected fresh life into the midfield. He grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck, driving forward like a raging bull.

Legendary nearly doubled their lead when Mayor, on for goalscorer Moses, missed an absolute sitter, gifted to him beautifully by a crisp Ophimen pass. That miss would later haunt them.

Because immediately afterward, Turf Kings responded with violence and purpose.

Moses powered through midfield, shrugged through tackles, exchanged a quick one-two with Pedro inside traffic, received the ball again in the box, and unleashed a sizzler that looked like it might rip the net apart.

The first half ended level, and both sides went into the break knowing the next 25 minutes would test everything they had.

Turf Kings pushed with heart, hunger, and chaos, but their shooting boots remained mysteriously missing. They created enough to win two matches but couldn’t find that killer touch.

Legendary had their own chances, but over-enthusiasm cost them composure at crucial moments.

Both sides defended like their lives depended on it.
Both sides attacked without fear.
Both sides refused to break.

The referee’s whistle finally ended a half full of heat, bravery, and bruises.

A draw.
A fair draw.
But only one team could progress.

Penalties would decide everything.

Penalty Shootout Recap

The penalty shootout felt like a drama scripted by the football gods—full of nerves, misfires, and finally, one decisive moment that separated heartbreak from glory.

Iwhebros stepped up first for Legendary Lincoin, but it looked as though he momentarily forgot how to hit a football. His attempt flew off target, sending early panic through the Legendary camp.

Turf Kings had the chance to take control, but Accuracy ironically couldn’t live up to his name. His strike lacked conviction and also missed the target.

Then came Moses (Legendary)—usually calm, usually composed. But on this day, the Red Sea refused to open. He failed to guide the ball home, and the shootout remained scoreless.

Pedro followed for Turf Kings. Dangerous all game, confident, familiar with pressure—but he too missed. A stunned silence swept through the Turf Kings supporters.

Mayor came next for Legendary, but he wasn’t mayor-like today. His ballot went wide, another miss in a shootout filled with disbelief.

Turf Kings sent up Moses, hoping for salvation, but he also missed the promised land—another off-target strike in a truly baffling sequence of penalties.

Someone had to break the curse.
Someone had to find calm in the storm.

That someone was Amah.

Stepping forward with the composure of a man born for big moments, he struck the first clean, confident, technically perfect penalty of the shootout. Straight into the target. Legendary finally had a goal—1-0.

All pressure shifted to the final kicker, Edu, carrying the hopes, dreams, and survival of Turf Kings on his shoulders.
He walked up, took his stance… and completely missed the target.

And with that, Turf Kings were out.
Legendary Lincoin were through—by the slimmest, strangest margin possible—winning 1-0 on penalties.

They now book a mouth-watering semifinal showdown with the in-form Perfect Touch FC on Wednesday, 23rd.

Amah was everywhere—controlling the tempo, breaking lines, creating chances, and showing the quality that separates great players from good ones. His pass for the opening goal was pure artistry, and when it mattered most in the penalty shootout, he stood tall and delivered the only goal of the shootout. A true midfield general.
