ποΈ SEMIFINAL MATCH RECAP
Legendary Lincoin 1β4 Perfect Touch FC
The evening began the way big semifinals always do, with nerves humming through the turf, boots testing grass, and two teams feeling each other out like heavyweight fighters in the opening round. From the first whistle, it was clear this was going to be a chess match before it became a war.
Legendary Lincoin struck first in intent. They pressed higher up the pitch, winning the early duels and second balls as Amah and Moses dictated the early rhythm. But Perfect Touch always looked dangerous on the break through the sharp movements of Emmanuel and Veylla, with Robben screening and steadying things from deep.
Chances came sparingly. Emmanuel had two clear looks at goal but couldnβt apply the final polish,Β Davina stood firm, blocking everything that came his way in goal. The game simmered; tense, technical, and tight.
β‘ Breakthrough β Legendary Strike First
The pressure finally told when Iwhebros broke the deadlock. Fine work in midfield from Amah and Moses opened the door, and Iwhebros timed his run to perfection before sliding a late shot beyond Saint. Against the run of missed chances at the other end, Legendary were suddenly 1β0 up.
The rest of the first half settled into a careful, almost cautious rhythm. Emmanuel picked up a knock and made way for Daniel, a change that would soon define the night. A few crunching tackles, heated shouts, and rising emotions followed before the halftime whistle froze the contest at 1β0.
π SECOND HALF β DANIEL TAKES OVER
Perfect Touch began the second half with urgency, hunting for a response. Daniel looked lively from the restart, drifting into spaces and asking questions. The momentum fully tilted when Austin entered and began pulling the strings from the back with calm authority.
The equaliser arrived through pure craft. Austin picked out Daniel with a measured long ball. With one clever body feint, Daniel sold Amah completely, created a yard, and from the tightest of angles drilled a finish into the bottom corner. Davina was beaten at last β 1β1.
Legendary barely had time to reset before the storm returned. Once again it was Daniel. Beating his marker for the second time in minutes, he struck the post, but fortune smiled as the rebound ricocheted off Davina and into the net. In the blink of an eye, Perfect Touch had turned the game on its head β 2β1.
Now rattled, Legendary tried to respond, but the control had slipped. A swift counter saw Daniel surge forward again, draw the post man, and lay the ball square for Emmanuel to finish into an empty net β 3β1. Heads dropped. The belief drained.
Legendary still pushed, still fought, but desperation crept into their play. Iwhebros overplayed in midfield, lost possession, and waited in vain for a whistle that never came. Daniel and Emmanuel broke with speed and precision. Daniel slipped the final pass, and Emmanuel speared a low finish through Davinaβs legs for the fourth β 4β1. The contest was done.
Moments later, the referee blew for full time.
Perfect Touch were through to the grand finale.
π PLAYER OF THE MATCH β Daniel (Perfect Touch FC)
Composure, intelligence, ruthlessness. Daniel changed the game completely. One goal, two assists, a hand in the own goal, constant movement, and total authority in the second half. Every time Perfect Touch needed direction, he provided it. This was a semifinal performance of the highest class.
β HONOURABLE MENTION β Emmanuel (Perfect Touch FC)
Relentless movement, sharp instincts, and two vital goals. Even on a night where chances were scarce early on, Emmanuel never stopped working. When the floodgates opened, he walked straight through them.
β FINAL WORD
Legendary Lincoin showed courage, structure, and belief β but once momentum shifted, Perfect Touch were unstoppable. With Daniel pulling strings and Emmanuel finishing clinically, they turned pressure into punishment and booked their place in the Grand Final in emphatic fashion.
